Once again voted Best Of NH Day Spa for 2022!

Since our beginning in 1998, The Wingate has grown into one of the premiere salon & day spas for New England. Famous for our Scones and Tea Service served during days of beauty or spa parties.  Ask past guests if they’ve had a Wingate scone and they are sure to share their delight!

Situated on 5 beautiful acres at the Stratham circle The Wingate is home to over 40 beauty industry professionals. The house itself was built in 1786 by John Wingate, whose father Paine Wingate served as a Senator from New Hampshire under our nation’s new Constitution. Local lore says that during George Washington’s trip to New Hampshire in 1789, he was received as an honored guest at The Wingate House.

The Wingate has our exclusive Bridal & Events suite. This beautiful, private room offers hair, make-up and other spa services along with space for photographs and a changing room. The Wingate continues to send many happy brides off to their big day from this special space. The suite is also a great hosting spot for spa parties.

Along the way The Wingate garnered many accolades. The salon and spa has been voted Best of New Hampshire by New Hampshire Magazine readers multiple years running. Our bridal services have also been recognized, receiving Best of Bride awards. Other honors include Best Spa Day for Mom from Parenting Magazine, Top 200 Salons in America from Salon Today Magazine, Best Manicures & Pedicures by NHPR’s New Hampshire A-List, Best Spa Party Location by Celebrations Magazine, Best Spa for New Hampshire Women by Applaud Magazine, Top Rated Vendor on WeddingWire.Com.
